Hudson is a small town on the banks of the Ottawa River that is home to important topographical, ecological and heritage features. Its wooded areas, wetlands, streams, ponds, plants and wildlife, form a vital ecosystem that contributes to the health of the area and its watershed.
Hudson is known for its beautiful scenery and both locals and tourists enjoy its many nature trails, Sandy Beach, Pine Lake and the access it provides to the Ottawa River at Jack Layton Park. Our goal is to preserve this exceptional setting for future generations.
